About

We train the decision, not the swing.

GolfCourseIQ helps golfers make better decisions on the course — the part of the game almost nobody practices.

Most golfers do not lose strokes because of poor swings. They lose them through poor decisions — wrong target, poor club choice, unnecessary risk, or a shot they never committed to.

So the product asks before it tells. You are put on a real shot, you say what you would play, and only then are you shown what that choice cost you. Being wrong once, with a number attached, is what makes it stick.

Every figure is modeled from published strokes-gained data and your own carry distances, not measured from your rounds — and the app says so, next to the number.

What you'll improve

Five things, none of them your swing.

  • Target selection

Aim where a miss is survivable, not where the flag happens to be.

  • Club choice

Pick the club the shot asks for, not the one you hit best once.

  • Risk management

Know when the reward is real and when you are paying for nothing.

  • Safe miss strategy

Decide where the ball can end up before you stand over it.

  • Shot commitment

Decide once. Second-guessing mid-swing costs more than the wrong club.

To be clear

This is not swing instruction.

Nothing here reads your swing, tracks your ball, or replaces your coach. It is local knowledge, handed over before you play: what matters on the holes that matter, and where the trouble actually begins.
